Cornbelly’s Pumpkin Patch
Last weekend, we took the kids to Cornbelly’s Pumpkin Patch. We started the day off right by completely forgetting to bring diapers for Kaden. Well, we cloth diaper now and they don’t exactly hold 8 hours of urine like a disposable does! We had planned to stop at the store and by a small pack of disposables on our way out of town, but we totally spaced it. Luckily, when we got there, he was still dry so we decided to just go with it.
First thing we did when we got there was get some oh so yummy fair style food! Kaden was in food heaven when we presented him with a giant piece of roasted corn on the cob, a hand dipped corn dog, and an orange pop (Three of his most favorite things).
I was super worried about our little diaper situation….especially after I let him drink all that orange soda! But, we went along with our day and soon forgot about it (for awhile at least). The kids had a blast playing on slides built off of hay bales and bouncy houses. They got to make their own snow cones and eat kettle corn. They even went inside a giant blow up lizard. Olivia said it was really scary and that it growled at her the whole time. She then proceeded to tell me that she was wanted to go into the haunted house. I told her that if she could handle a growling monster, she could not handle scary dead people jumping out at her. Her response: “Oh, I can handle dead people Mom. I can definitely handle that.” I love that girl!
The whole trip, Olivia was so excited to go on the mechanical bull. Honestly, I doubted that once she saw it, she would even go on it. Well, she surprised us all! That girl got on that thing twice and didn’t have one worry in the world about it!!
It really was a super fun trip looking back on it. At the time, I felt really stressed out with all three kids and both of us were definitely ready to go home after just a couple hours, but it was a great first “big day out” with all of the kids. Kaden made it to the car and of course, soaked through his diaper. I ended up taking out the inserts and stuffing his diaper with a couple of Charlee’s diapers. It held him over until we got home.
I am a couple days behind and we had a pretty big event occur today, but I am ready for bed ( I only have a few hours before Charlee wakes up), so I will write a new post tomorrow.
Love you all!

Baby Charlotte
I can’t even begin to catch up on an entire year that I have not blogged! Things get busy and I just don’t have time to sit down and do this as often as I would like. I will try to keep this more up to date as I know there are family members who do not have facebook and I want you all to be in the loop as well!
Something very big happened in our lives last month. Her name is Charlotte Ann Fuller. She is absolutely perfect and we are so very blessed to have her!
Little Miss Charlee as we call her, was born at 8:00 p.m. on September 14, 2013. She weighed 7 pounds even and 19 inches long. My labor was not induced and I needed no pitocin. That was a first for me. I did have an epidural. 3 of them actually. They had a really hard time getting the epidural in the right spot. Thankfully, the third one took. Just in time to get comfortable and get ready to welcome our baby girl. We had a roomful! My mom and dad, Kaden and Olivia, and of course my Hubby, all got to experience Charlee’s birth. We also had a photographer who captured memories for us that I will cherish forever. Thank you Amber!!
Charlee had a bit of a rough start. She had the cord around her neck and was pretty blue when she was born (sound familiar?). They were able to get her nice and pink fairly quickly (though it didn’t feel that way to me) and then I was able to hold her. She ended up having to stay an extra night in the hospital because he jaundice levels spiked and she needed the lights. We brought her home on lights as well and she stayed on those for 48 hours. We are STILL dealing with some jaundice at 4 weeks, but it is slowly leaving her system.
How is life with 3 kids you ask? Well….it’s amazing and crazy, and fun, and overwhelming! I feel like I am constantly playing catch up with everything. Kaden and Olivia adore their little sister, but both of them have each shown their frustrations with my constant attention on Charlee. Kaden insists on sitting on my lap while I nurse and that doesn’t always work out and he is going through a “I want that NOW stage”, so we are battling some super awesome fits. Olivia has mastered the art of talking (more like yelling) back to me so that’s been fun.
All in all, everything is perfect really. This is just life and we are all adjusting to our new little addition. I am really hoping that we can find time to come home and visit everyone soon. Wayne is getting ready to head to California (we think) for a few weeks and with Olivia in school now, it makes it a little more difficult to just head home when we want to.
In the meantime, I will do my best to keep this blog updated even if it is just a little quick paragraph and some pictures now and then. Here are a few more pics of little miss that I took right after we got home from the hospital.
Love you all!!
