This is me playing catch up!! I am pretty sure I am the worst blogger ever LOL! I get busy and this just seems to get put on the back burner.  This is what I have been up to lately though:

Day 11: Olivia made our Tree Topper all by herself! It is a paper towel roll with a cut out LaLaloopsy Doll glued to it.  I did the cutting, but she did the rest and then asked if she could put it on top of the tree.  I guess Gretchen thought it was pretty cool too!

Days 4 and 5

Sorry I missed my post last night! Olivia and I went with some friends across the street to see Rise of the Guardians…It was an awesome movie!  Anyway…Gretchen spent the day on top of my Boat Shelf.  It was the perfect place for her to keep an eye on my little munchkins!

When Livie woke up the next morning, she was hanging out on the window sill enjoy the Christmas Lights and giving out some good advice!

I wonder where she will be tomorrow?…..

Day 3…Elf on the Shelf

This little elf is getting quite creative! We woke up this morning and she had built a hammock in my spider plant!

Dad  had his surgery today….It sounds like he was a pretty big mess in there.  Mom says he is doing good…much better than last time.  He has to stay in the hospital for two days. Tomorrow they are taking him off of the morphine pump. I sure hope he just continues to do good…the last time he had this surgery it was just so hard for him. Lots of prayers that this time, he recovers quickly! Love you Daddy! Thank you all for your prayers and support!!

Day 2…Gretchen Loves Goldie

This morning when we woke up, Gretchen was watching Goldie swim around and around.  Later on in the day she tried to hide behind between the fish tank and the wall, but Livie spotted her right away!

Olivia wrote her Santa letter today so that Gretchen could deliver it for her tonight.  She also made Gretchen a little care package full of pictures she drew of her and even some extra elf hats that she had made out of paper towels and tape…just in case she needed them. Oh my Sweet Livie…you are always so thoughtful and your imagination always amazes me!

We have a little Visitor….

Today, when Livie got home from school, there was a little visitor at our house.  She showed up while Livie was at school and said she was from the North Pole.  She explained that Santa had sent her to watch over Olivia and Kaden and that every night she would report back to him and tell him all of the wonderful things the kids did that day. She did say that if they were naughty that she would have to tell him that too.  The kids cannot touch her because she could lose her Christmas Magic and then she would not be able to fly back to Santa at night.  We had a little mis-hap tonight and Kaden knocked her out of the tree, but it’s all good! I explained to Livie that she should have enough Christmas Magic to get back to Santa and if she needed some help that I could purchase a plane ticket for her. : ) Olivia was just fascinated with her and she asked all kinds of questions! She talks to her and introduces her to her friends…she is very concerned about her flying all the way to the North Pole tonight and is very worried that she will not come back.

Day1(2)

She has a very serious job to do, keeping an eye out on our two wild kiddos! But, sometimes she gets a little lazy …and I think she’s a little drunk on Candy Canes  because she was sure being a little indecent tonight! hahahaha

Check back daily for more updates on our little Elf on The Shelf.  We have heard she likes to find new places to hang out after each trip to the North Pole…I wonder where she will be tomorrow?!

Trying Again….

Recently we decided to try to have another baby. Pure joy is what I felt! We have two beautiful, wonderful children, and having one more beautiful, wonderful child was itching through my body and nothing was making it go away. My family was concerned…confused. Why would I want to go through all that again with my body? Didn’t I remember how miserable I was?! Well, let me tell you now, I was a little confused too, but that feeling would just not go away! I really thought we were done…two was enough.

Now, three months later, as I am sitting here surrounded by anger and sadness…I have decided it was just too much. I can’t do it. The pain my body was in after stopping my birth control was beyond any pain I have ever felt since being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I am sure that the constant up all nights with Kaden while he was going through multiple ear infections and then tubes, along with the stress of trying to keep up with my daily chores while feeling so much pain was not helping at all.

This is not easy for me. I am now struggling to understand why my body is constantly fighting against what I want and I am furious and so sad that this may just not be in the cards for us. I don’t remember a time when I did not want to be a Mommy someday and I now I am and it’s amazing! I need to move past this, focus on giving the two I have all I’ve got and get my body healthy again. I have gained nearly 20 pounds from lack of exercise I was able to do and the depression that came with the pain I was in while trying to conceive. I guess the best thing for me to do now is to channel this anger and pain into fighting to get healthy and lose weight again.

Trying to get pregnant is still something I would like to think about for the future…maybe when Kaden is a little older and does not need so much of my time….maybe when I reach my goal weight and I feel like my body is in a healthier place…I just don’t know yet.

Thanks to those of you who supported me and for all of the prayers. I guess those who were concerned were right and I am sorry. Feeling this way is so frustrating and depressing. I just thought I could fight against this….

July/August

I have not blogged since June?! Seriously?! I just cannot keep up with this thing! LOL Well, now I have to try and think back all the way back to July..well, really…the end of June, to think about what we have been up to….

At the end of June, Olivia, Kaden and I went back to Idaho for almost 4 weeks! But first, we headed to Montana for the 1st Annual Family Five K Run! I don’t really have very many pictures of that…oooo I have this one of the Pepiot Family Though:IMG_1781

I need to do a better job at that the next time! I was running, so taking pictures of the actual run would have been pretty hard, but I should have taken pictures afterwards! We had some fun little prizes and some DELICIOUS finish line food! Later in the day, we had some more DELICIOUS FOOD and then surprised Aunt Sheree with some presents  for losing all of her weight! Those would have been really great pictures…What was I thinking?! Sad smile  BUT- I did get some beautiful family photos of the Beard and Pepiot families! Here are a few sneak peeks:

I had so much fun taking pictures of these two amazing families! Thanks for allowing me to be your photographer guys!! Smile

After having a wonderful time hanging out with the Montana Family, we headed to St. Maries to unpack and get ready for the next big event: Dad’s 50th Surprise Birthday Party!

We had a great turnout, great food, and AMAZING Coconut Cream Cupcakes made by Aunt Sheree! A bunch of us went together and got Dad a ride in a race car for his birthday here in Utah! He had a blast and I think we really surprised him with that one! He never even came close to guessing his present! Winking smile

Anyway, we had a great time at home.  I had a few super fun photo shoots with some families from St. Maries and Coeurdalene and then we just relaxed and enjoyed our Idaho Family.  Kaden went on his first boat ride, Olivia fished with Papa and caught a fish..errr..a worm LOL.  Both of them loved playing in Grandma and Papa’s big backyard! We went to Emida and visited Grandma and Papa Fuller too! Olivia was in heaven with all of the space to play and run and the Barn and the Cows and of course, getting to play with Halle! : )

We really missed Daddy though and we were so happy to be back home to him! We had a little Surprise Birthday Waiting for him after he got off work…Olivia picked out the cake hahaha! And then…we put him to work giving this lil’ guy a brand new bed! ; )

Olivia’s Birthday pretty much sums up June and July, which she spend with her friend Cole! We went out to dinner at Applebees and then Daddy took cranky boy home and Olivia, Cole, and I went to see the movie Brave! She loved, it and so did I!

OH Yes, I almost forgot the new additions to our family:

Meet Josie:

Annnndd Bella:

Copper, our dog, found a new home after biting the baby one day ( I had just had enough of the biting), and he was replaced with two 7 week old kittens just a few days later.  These kittens are Olivia’s pride and joys. Red heartShe packs them everywhere and puts them in baby cradles, wraps them in blankets, and has even tried to give them a bath (she learned that cats do not like water lol).

Anyway..let’s move on to August because I am sure by now you are all very tired of reading my way too long blog post!

August was HOT! HAHAHA I decided a few days before Kaden’s birthday that it was time for some updated pictures of my kiddos:

Then, Grandma and Papa Weaver came for a visit! This is when Dad took his race car ride and then we celebrated Kaden turning 1!

and ummm…Yes…that is his toothbrush mixed in with the cake! He did not want to give it up for anything!

Well, I think that pretty much covers the last few months! I will try harder to keep this updated at least once a month! Olivia just started gymnastics and starts preschool on the 5th of September.  Updates coming soon! Love you all!!

*please forgive all typos…it is almost midnight and I am too tired to re-read this!
